In 1980, Shigeru completed one of his greatest achievements – the Ryuyo Piano Factory. Today, Ryuyo is not only a place for production, but also a place for innovation. Shigeru Kawai Research and Development Lab in Ryuyo stands as a tribute to the founder’s vision of continued excellence and employs master piano artists dedicated to the continued advancement of piano art.<\/p>\n

After more than 50 years of intense work, Shiger wanted to leave his personal legacy to the world of pianos. In 2000, he introduced a unique line of instruments that would bear his name.
