About company
The Benton Piano Salon is a family-owned company with a long tradition in the Slovenian market.
Following his father, Andrej Benda, who used to make church organs, Joseph Benda, founder at Benton, continues the tradition.
The company was established by Ivanka and Jožef Benda in 1990. Recently their son Matic joined the company, who is currently refining his knowledge and learning tuning techniques.
We started with a small shop of 30 m² and the workshop in the nearby city, where we could fix the pianos.
High quality pianos, competitive prices and quality services have earned us a reputation.
In order to provide all in one place we opened large showroom and a modern workshop in April 2001.
At one of the largest piano saloons, we have exhibited a diverse collection of different models of world-renowned manufacturers. A diverse selection offers our customers the choice of an instrument that meets their requirements at all levels, from beginners to professional pianists. We are located in Mengeš, city with a musical tradition.
We offer a range of services from routine tuning to maintenance, repair and restoration to full piano rebuild. Over the last 30 years, we have added additional services such as instrument rental for concert, piano rental for beginners, relocation, buying and selling used piano, warehousing and consulting.

We offer you favorable terms of purchase (discount on immediate payment, purchase on installments …) and delivery to your home. For beginners, you can also rent a Kawai piano from us.
We represent the world’s leading manufacturers of pianos. Besides the represented ones, we also import pianos of some other brands. When buying a piano of a higher price and quality, it is possible to choose an instrument from the manufacturer.
In addition to classic pianos and digital pianos, we also sell harpsichords, piano chairs, piano lights, music stands, metronome, humidity meters and humidification and drying systems.
Rent a new piano for the beginner
We offer the option of renting a new Kawai Piano of Japanese or Indonesian origin (different models and colors) for beginners with the option of later purchase.
Event Rental
You can rent different grand pianos for different occasions. We have the concert pianos, attractive Plexiglas Piano with self-illumination, smaller Pianos for smaller concerts, harpsichord or harmonies. We bring all the instruments professionally prepared to any stage in Slovenia.
Service and Tuning
We offer maintenance of pianos, from tuning and minor repairs at home, in the schools classroom or on stage, to the restoration of an old piano in our own workshop.
Removals
We are equipped with modern aids for the transportation of heavy instruments through stairs and through other obstacles of modern architecture.
